Blizzard Club Team Selection 2026 Season
Player selection for Blizz club teams will commence around mid November. We always want to field the strongest possible teams. Volleyball NS has not yet announced the rules that will apply and we are anticipating some changes. Traditionally, there has been three phases:
- Re-Signing Period – clubs may re-sign players who were in the club the season prior (about mid November)
- Open Signing Period – clubs may sign players who did not play in their club the season prior by Application (about late November)
- Tryouts – this will commence December 7 for about 10 days.
In the past our coaches have employed all of these options to select their teams and there has been variance from team to team.
We plan to offer two teams: 12U Co-Ed, 13U/14U/15U/16U/17U/18U Girls
We plan to offer one team: 13U (new)/14U/15U/16U/17U/18U Boys
